Dennis Mac Fox, 85, Raymore, Missouri, died Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at Foxwood Springs Living Center in Raymore. Funeral services were held Saturday, April 29 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, Missouri. Burial was in Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville. Dennis was born August 16, 1931 in Ionia, Missouri, the son of LeRoy and Gladys (McCord) Fox. He was a 1949 graduate of Harrisonville High School. He was a U.S. Korean War Navy veteran. Dennis married Margaret Cecelia Kelley on September 7, 1952 in Harrisonville and their son, Tim was born in 1956. They made their home in San Diego, California, while Dennis was in the Navy, returning to Missouri in 1966. Dennis had lived in Kansas City and Lee's Summit, Missouri before moving to Raymore in 2014.

Dennis was a decorator for Macy's until retiring in 1984. He was a lifelong Disciple of Christ Christian and was a member of the Lee's Summit Christian Church. Dennis and Margaret enjoyed RV-ing with "That Group", friends from Broadview and Lee's Summit Christian Churches. They spent 15 winters in Gold Canyon, Arizona, and several summers in upstate New York with their son and his family, giving them a wonderful opportunity to be with their grandson, Sam, who was a great joy to both of them.

Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Rogene, and his wife, Margaret on January 20, 2015. He is survived by a son, Tim Fox and his wife, Carolyn, New York, New York, and one grandson, Sam Fox, New York, New York.
