Delores "Corky" May Terrell, 84, Harrisonville, MO, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2020 at St. Luke's East in Lee's Summit, MO.  No services are scheduled at this time.

Corky was born May 30, 1935 in Kansas City, MO, a daughter of Elmer Joseph and Gladys Ellen (Foster) Scott.  She was raised in East Lynne and was a graduate of Garden City High School.  Corky had worked as a registered nurse and owned and ran Scott's BBQ in Harrisonville from 1984-2004.  She also was a nurse in the U. S. Navy during the Korean conflict.  Corky had played professional basketball for the Washington Redheads and enjoyed traveling and especially trips to Las Vegas.

Corky was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Michael Garzee; one daughter, Rebecca Garzee; three brothers: Charles "Charlie" Scott, William "Bill" Scott, Bruce Scott; and one sister, Mary Scott.  She is survived by one son, Tad Terrell, Harrisonville, MO; and four grandchildren: Angela Kerfoot, William Kerfoot, Michael Garzee, and Phoebie Terrell.
