Delores Jean Cannady, 87, of Salem, OR, formerly of Harrisonville, MO, passed away Monday, May 18, 2020 at her home in Salem.  Graveside services were held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 22, 2020 at Orient Cemetery in Harrisonville.

Delores was born March 29, 1933 in Springfield, MO, a daughter of James J. and Frances P. (Winter) Chastain.  She was united in marriage to Willard Ray Cannady on October 30, 1948 in Lee's Summit, MO.  They had lived in Kansas City, MO and Peculiar, MO before moving to Harrisonville in 1984. Delores moved to Salem, Oregon 15 years ago to be closer to family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Willard Ray, on June 27, 1997, and her son, Dennis Cannady.  Delores is survived by her daughter, Alana Grove, Salem, OR; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
