Delores Ann Anders, 75, Harrisonville, MO, died Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at her home. Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 26, 2017 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville with visitation from 6:00-7:00.

Delores was born July 24, 1942 in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of James L. and Marguerite (Messmer) Flaigle. She was a 1960 graduate of Grandview High School. She had lived in Belton before moving to Harrisonville in 1977. Delores married Raymon Anders on October 20, 1962 in Kansas City, MO. She had worked for Wal-Mart in Harrisonville for 20 years. Delores was an avid quilter, making numerous baby quilts for Project Linus, and for family and friends.

Delores is survived by her husband, Ray, of the home; one son, Travis Anders and wife, Brenda, Harrisonville, MO; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Deann, as she was known by her side of the family, Dee, by the Anders family and friends, was a truly unique person who lifted the spirits of everyone she came in contact with. She was a true artist in her own right, creating many wonderful things with her quilting and sewing. She loved her family, friends and animals, and will be missed by all.
