Obituary
Delma Witte Todd, 86, Harrisonville, MO, died Sunday, June 5, 2011 at the Village House in Lee's Summit, MO. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at the Atkinson Chapel in Harrisonville. Burial will be in Englewood Cemetery in Clinton, MO.
Delma was born June 25, 1924 in Lockney, TX, the daughter of Henry and Katie (Tierce) Witte. She was united in marriage to John W. Todd on September 1, 1944 in Clovis, New Mexico.
She worked for Grace Company for 22 years, starting as a seamstress and retired in 1988 as a designer. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in East Lynne, MO.
Delma was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband, John, of the home; two sons, John Todd, Jr., Ottawa, KS and Dennis Todd, Brenham, TX; two daughters, Gwen Brungardt, Overland Park, KS and Lynelle Scrivo, Kansas City, KS; 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
