Debra Lynn Schlesener, 60, Clinton, MO, died Sunday, December 25, 2016 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. Memorial services will be held at 5:00 p.m. Friday, December 30, 2016 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, MO.

Debra was born January 19, 1956 in Humansville, MO, the daughter of Billy Joe and Eva Lavern (Petrie) Houston. She grew up in East Lynne, MO and was a 1974 graduate of Pleasant Hill High School. Debra showed horses, loved to fish, and was a homemaker. She had lived in Harrisonville until moving to Osceola, MO and then to Clinton in 2008.

Debra was preceded in death by her mother and two grandsons, Ethan and Eli. She is survived by two sons, Justin Jay Schlesener, Harrisonville, MO and Brandon Jay Schlesener, Clinton, MO; her father, Billy "Joe" Houston; one brother, Rick Huston, Lee's Summit, MO; one sister, Teresa Miller, Harrisonville, MO and 8 grandchildren, Tucker, Chris, Brady, Sydney, Mackenzie, Portia, Hayden, and Lily.
