Deanna Faye Hockett, 58, Butler, MO, formerly of Adrian, MO, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at Medicalodge of Butler in Butler, MO after a lengthy illness.  A memorial visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Monday, March 21, 2022 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Adrian, MO.  Deanna's wishes were to be cremated with inurnment at a later date in Scott Cemetery in Amsterdam, MO.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.

Dee was born July 20, 1963 in Harrisonville, MO, a daughter of Wilmer and Nina (Corwine) Hockett.  She worked as a sales associate for Wal-Mart in sporting goods.

Dee was preceded in death by her parents, sister-in-law, Tonya Hockett and long-time special friend, Calvin Porter, and her beloved dachshund, Chesnie.  She is survived by three sisters, Nylene McGraw, Ginger Filtingberger (Jim), and Debbie Moles (Bob), all of Adrian, MO; a brother, Dustin Hockett, Amsterdam, MO; numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
