Dean P. Ryals, 77, of Peculiar, MO passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. Private graveside services were held Tuesday, April 2, 2024  at Staley Mound Cemetery in Pleasant Hill, MO.

Dean was born on September 20, 1946, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Don and Esther Ryals. After graduating from high school, Dean served in the United States Navy. He dedicated his life to his work and had a true passion and love for it. Dean excelled as an Operating Engineer with Local Union 101. His love for building things was evident in his work, leaving a lasting legacy in the projects he undertook. Outside of work, he had a passion for mechanics, hot rods, and build things.

Dean was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Janelle Ryals; his brother, Gene Ryals; and his sister, Donna Roach. He leaves behind his loving daughters Melanie Ryals and Macie Kuritz, and their families.
