Obituary
Dean Ward Bosley, 88, Harrisonville, MO, died Saturday, September 23, 2006 at Camden Health Care Center, Harrisonville. Funeral services were held Wednesday, September 27 at the Atkinson Chapel, Harrisonville, officiated by Chaplain Reneé Weigel. Burial was in Crescent Hill Cemetery, Adrian. Contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, Kansas City, MO.
Dean was born March 28, 1918 in Bates County, MO, the son of Herschel O. and Nell L. (Ferris) Bosley. He married Janie Atwood on August 17, 1940 in Albany, MO.
Dean was a life-long area resident. He worked for Anaconda as a lab technician before retiring. Dean was a high school referee for football and basketball games. He had served on the Harrisonville School Board. Dean was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.
Dean was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Janie, on February 18, 2003. He is survived by one son, Jack Bosley, Harrisonville, MO; one nephew, Gale Wright of Tennessee and one niece, Barbara Roberts of Texas.
