Davona Charlene Cox, 57, Adrian, Missouri, died Friday, March 13, 2015 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, Missouri with burial in Wills Cemetery, Peculiar, Missouri. Visitation 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Atkinson Funeral Home, Harrisonville.

Davona was born September 10, 1957 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Charles and Reasa (Galloway) Nokes. She worked for St. Joseph Hospital in medical billing. Davona enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with grandchildren.

Davona was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Shannon Schroeder. She is survived by one daughter, Reasa Hancock; stepdaughter, Kayla Carolton; stepson, Christopher Cox; two brothers, Shawn Linder, Garden City, Missouri and Darrell Linder, Osceola, Missouri; one sister, Shirley Saville, St. Louis, Missouri; 4 grandchildren, Preston Rose, Brandon Hancock, Paige Estep and Paris Estep, and 2 step-grandchildren.
