David Earl Reiman, 80, Adrian, Missouri, died Monday, February 2, 2015 at the Kansas City Hospice House in Kansas City, Missouri. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. with Masonic service at 2:00 p.m. and funeral services to follow on Friday, February 6, 2015 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Archie, Missouri. Burial will be in Crescent Hill Cemetery, Adrian.
David was born July 29, 1934 in Kansas City, Kansas, the son of Arthur Henry and Allie Esther (Zuck) Reiman. He married Amy Rose Striley on July 4, 1955 in Henry County, Missouri, near Browington. They moved to Archie, Missouri in 1955. He was a U.S. Coast Guard Reserve veteran.
David worked as a material handler for General Motors, Leeds Plant, retiring in 1989. He was a past Master and a 50-year member and also served as secretary of the Archie Masonic Lodge No. 633 and was a current member of Grand River Masonic Lodge No. 276, Freeman, Missouri. David was a 50-year member of Bayard Chapter No. 179 Order of the Eastern Star. He was also a member of the Scottish Rite and Ararat Shrine.
David was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Amy on December 27, 2007, one son, Mark D. Reiman on April 15, 2011, two brothers, Arthur Henry Reiman, Jr. and Walter Reiman and one sister, Alvena Maddox. He is survived by many nephews and nieces who loved him and will miss him.
