David Cleon Paskon, 74, Belton, MO, passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at his home in Belton.  Memorial services were held Monday, August 16, 2021 at the Cornerstone Chapel in Peculiar, MO.  Memorial contributions may be made to the church.

David was born September 7, 1946 in Kansas City, MO, a son of John I. and Marguerite Jenny (Moore) Paskon.  He was a 1964 graduate of Raymore-Peculiar High School.  David was a U. S. Air Force veteran.  David married Carol Suzanne Dodge on July 10, 1971 in Harrisonville, MO.  They lived in the Peculiar area for 46 years before moving to Belton, MO.

David worked for Bendix/Honeywell as a welder before retiring in 2004.  He was a member of Local 990 International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers and Local 27 Asbestos Workers.  David loved fishing and went at every opportunity, whether it be crappie fishing or deep sea fishing.

David was preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived by his wife, Suzy, of the home; one son, Matthew David Paskon, Overland Park, KS; one daughter, Heather Suzanne Belanger and her husband, Jaw, San Diego, CA; two brothers, Ronald James Paskon and his wife, Mary Ellen, Peculiar, MO and John Richard Paskon and his wife, Alla, Kansas City, MO; five grandchildren, Brayden John Fox, Dylan David Fox, Mason Donald Fox, all of San Diego, CA, and Maddix Mae Paskon and McKinley Kate Paskon, of Overland Park, KS.
