Darla Rae Neal, 72, Pleasant Hill, MO, died Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at her home in Pleasant Hill that she shared with her daughter, Shelly Fulwider and her grandson, Aidan Amor. A Celebration of Life gathering was held  Wednesday, July 18 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, MO.

Darla was born January 13, 1946 in Kansas City, KS the daughter of William H. and Lois E. (Crisp) Hoppe. She had lived in Harrisonville, MO and Lowry City, MO before moving to Pleasant Hill 13 years ago. Darla had worked for Western Electric and AT&T. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Pleasant Hill. She also was a volunteer at the Pleasant Hill Clothes Closet.

Darla was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Charles Anderson, one sister, Robin Marlett, and one granddaughter, Crystal Totten. She is survived by one son, Michael Totten, Greenwood, MO; one daughter, Shelly Fulwider, Pleasant Hill, MO; one brother, Robert Anderson, Bethany, MO; one sister, Jan Anderson Wainwright, Raymore, MO; 4 grandchildren, Branden Streit, Jessica McConville, Christopher Totten, and Aiden Amor, and 5 great-grandchildren.
