Danny Eldon Mohler, 59, of Drexel, MO died Friday, April 14, 2017 at Cass Regional Medical Center in Harrisonville, MO. Funeral services were held Friday, April 21, 2017 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, MO with burial in Freeman Cemetery, Freeman, MO.

Danny was born January 13, 1958 in Wichita, KS, the son of Ferald and Maxine (Gould) Mohler. He lived in Andover, KS and was a 1976 graduate of Andover High School. Danny was united in marriage to Laura E. Hasting on September 30, 1977 in Augusta, KS. They moved to Drexel in 1986. Danny was the owner of Mohler Construction Co. from 1997-2008 and was currently working for K&J Excavating in Harrisonville. He loved to hunt and fish and spending time on the farm.

Danny was preceded in death by his daughter, Amy, and his father. He is survived by his wife, Laura, of the home; one son, Danny Mohler, Drexel,MO; his mother, Maxine Mohler, Clinton, MO; a brother, Don Mohler, Mt. Pleasant, SC, and two sisters, Diane Bryant, Greenville, TX, and Dorothy Knickerbocker, Stockton MO.
