Dalen R. Miller, 54, Harrisonville, MO, died August 26, 2018.  A memorial service was held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, MO with visitation from 1:00-2:00.

Dale was born December 29, 1963, the son of Edwin R. and Rose Barnard Miller.  He married Tarasa Smith and they had a daughter, Ashley.

Dale worked at Grandview Truck and Auto and Paul Fordyce for several years.  Dale also worked for his uncle, Ira, at Barnard's Auto Salvage for many years, and was a good mechanic.  He liked being outside and later went to work for his friend, Randy, at Humbird's Landscaping Farm for 18 years.

Dale was preceded in death by his father, and both sets of his grandparents.  He is survived by his daughter, Ashley (Jorge) Gutierrez, and his granddaughter, Raegan, both of Florida; his mother, Rose McAllister, of Harrisonville; brothers, Edwin Miller, of Arkansas, and Randy Miller, of Harrisonville; his siblings, Matthew Lopez, of Georgia, Jeremy McAllister, of California, Tina Polzer (J'an), of Kansas, Amber Mallinson, of Archie, MO; his aunt and uncle, LaVonne and Ira Barnard; nieces, nephews and cousins.  He will be forever missed.
