Dale Anthony Hajek, 81, of Harrisonville, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, Missouri. Memorial services will be held at a later time. Memorial contributions are suggested to either the Archie United Methodist Church or the Harrisonville Public Library.

Dale was born on December 28, 1940 in Loup City, NE, to George Washington and Alice Eugenia (Moomey) Hajek. Dale received a Bachelor's Degree and spent his career working as a copy editor for the Kansas City Star newspaper. He became a member of the Archie United Methodist Church on November 12, 1995, where he was an active participant, often helping in the church office. He will be most remembered for have a very good sense of humor and was loved by all who knew him.

Dale is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sister and two brothers; as well as, many extended friends and family.
