Craig Alva Poole, 23, Capefair, MO, died Thursday, March 20, 2008 in Capefair. Funeral services 10:00 AM, Monday, March 24, 2008 at Atkinson Chapel, Harrisonville. The family will receive friends 4:00-6:00 PM Sunday, March 23, 2008 at the chapel. Burial in Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.

Craig was born August 10, 1984 in Fort Scott, KS, the son of Claude Alvie and DeAnna Kay (Folks) Hicks. He worked at Chateau On The Lake in Branson, MO. He enjoyed fishing, shooting guns, canoeing, and capturing outdoor scenes in his paintings. Craig was known for his quick wit and being a prankster.

Craig was preceded in death by his grandfather, Alva Poole, and his father, Alvie Poole. He is survived by his mother, DeAnna, and step-father, Troy Hicks, of Capefair, and step-mother Anne Poole of Harrisonville, MO; one brother, T.J. Poole and his wife, Christina, Ozark, MO; one sister, Courtney Poole, Harrisonville; three step-brothers, Kyle Poole, Nathan Poole and Jonathan Poole, all of Harrisonville; his grandmother, Marilyn Poole, of Harrisonville; grandparents, Duane and Arlene Folks, of Eagle Rock, MO; and two nieces, CarLee and Destiny.
