Connie Carver, 52, Drexel, Missouri, formerly of Freeman, Missouri, died Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at her home in Drexel. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Harrisonville with inurnment to follow in Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville.
Connie was born October 15, 1964 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Joseph Francis and Alexina Jean (McDougall) Gonzales. She married James Bernard Carver on December 30, 1980 in Kansas City, Missouri. Connie was a fast food restaurant manager in Harrisonville. She grew up in Raytown, Missouri and had lived in Grandview, Garden City, and Freeman, Missouri before moving to Drexel. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Harrisonville.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jim on October 15, 2014, and a brother, Robert F. Gonzales. She is survived by two sons, James B. Carver and Rory R. Carver and two daughters, Cynthia M. Carver and Nina A. Carver, all of Drexel, Missouri; one brother, William Francis Gonzales, and one sister, Bessie Ann Jester, both of Kansas City, Missouri, and 3 grandchildren, James Carver, III, Johnathon Carver and Jackie Carver.
