Coleane Diamond, 67, Harrisonville, MO, died Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Golden Years Care Center in Harrisonville. Memorial services will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 11, 2012 at the United Methodist Church in Archie, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
Coleane was born April 1, 1945 in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of Frances O. and Anna L. (Crouch) Mabary. She was a 1963 graduate of Archie High School. Coleane had lived in Belton, MO before moving to Harrisonville in 1997. She had lived most of her adult life in Cass County. Coleane enjoyed quilting and her numerous medical mission trips to the Navajo Indian reservations in Arizona.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Archie and was also a member of the Bodacious Girlfriends Happy Hatters of Harrisonville Red Hat group, which she enjoyed thoroughly. She loved animals, especially her cats. Coleane worked in the clerical field for several companies in the Kansas City, MO area. She ended her career in the medical field.
Coleane was preceded in death by her parents, one infant son, Travis and one niece, Dana Calvert. She is survived by one son, John Diamond, Raymore, MO; one daughter, Diana Watskey and her husband, William, Belton, MO; one brother, John Mabary and his wife, Beverly, Freeman, MO; one niece, Debbie Thompson and family and one nephew, Donnie Mabary and family; one step-granddaughter, Spring Watskey two step-great-granddaughters, Emily Brinson and Ariella Gibson.
