Clarence Henry Sedwick, 79, Harrisonville, Missouri, died Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at K.U. Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 1 at the Atkinson Chapel in Harrisonville with visitation from 10:00-11:00. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Latour, Missouri. Clarence was born April 12, 1933 in Stigler, Oklahoma, the son of Bonnie Everett and Lillie Mae (Smith) Sedwick. He married Diane Marie Frame on September 24, 1955 in Kansas City, Missouri. They lived in Lee's Summit, Missouri for 13 years before moving to Harrisonville in 1970. Clarence was a body/fender technician and had worked for Dave Cross Motors, Don Kahan Motors and Broome Oldsmobile Cadillac before retiring in 1999.


Clarence was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Diane, of the home; two sons, Everett Sedwick, Harrisonville, Missouri and John Sedwick, Peculiar, Missouri.; three daughters, Julie Sedwick, Harrisonville, Beth Morford, Cleveland, Missouri, Christine Micheals, Windsor, Missouri; one brother, Donald Sedwick, Taft, California; two sisters, Eula Baughman and Linda Kay Scott, both of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
