Clara Mae Leonard, 89, Pleasant Hill, MO, died Friday, January 25, 2008 at Cass Medical Center in Harrisonville, MO. Graveside services were held Sunday, January 27, 2008 at the Freeman Cemetery, Freeman, MO, under the direction of Atkinson Funeral Home, Harrisonville.

Mae was born August 10, 1909 near Freeman, MO, the daughter of Horace Calvin and Sarah Naomi (McSpadden) Lacy. Mae had lived in Kansas City before moving to Pleasant Hill. She had been a resident of Camden Health Center in Harrisonville for the
last two years.

Mae was employed at Wolferman's in the candy department for many years. After her retirement, she made her home with her brother, Glen Lacy, in Pleasant Hill. Glen preceded her in death on July 29, 2007. Mae's hobbies included going to garage sales and working in the yard.

Mae was preceded in death by her parents and ten brothers and sisters. She is survived by two brothers, Urless E. Lacy and wife, Dorothy, Belton, MO and Marvin C. Lacy and wife, Mina, Harrisonville, MO and many nieces and nephews.
