Cindy Anne Hoenshell, 59, Harrisonville, Missouri, died Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan, Illinois. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 25, 2015 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville with burial in Wills Cemetery, Peculiar, Missouri. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, July 24 at the Atkinson Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Cindy was born September 14, 1955 in Excelsior Springs, Missouri, the daughter of Emmett and Fern (Pohl) Adams. She grew up in Lawson, Missouri and was a 1973 graduate of Lawson High School. Cindy moved to Harrisonville in 1980. She married Terry Hoenshell on March 20, 1976 at the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Harrisonville.

Cindy was a member of the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church and served as church secretary. She was also a member of the Archie School Board for two terms.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Timmy and Danny. She is survived by her husband, Terry, of the home; three daughters, Autumn Hoenshell and Teri Ratterree, both of Harrisonville, Missouri and Tera Marti, Grain Valley, Missouri; one sister, Karen Cleveland, Cabot, Arkansas and 3 grandchildren, Summer Wagoner, Chyloh and Garrett Ratterree.
