Ciamak Noorbakhsh, 57, Kansas City, Missouri, died Sunday, August 7, 2016 at his home. Visitation will be held from 11:00-12:00 Thursday, August 11 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, Missouri, with graveside services to follow at Crescent Hill Cemetery in Adrian, Missouri.

Ciamak was born March 15, 1959 in Abadan, Iran, the son of Ata and Khadijeh (Jananvandi) Noorbakhsh. He moved to the United States in 1985 and lived in Kansas City, Missouri. He received a bachelor's degree from CMSU in Warrensburg, Missouri in 1993. Ciamak worked for the City of Kansas City for 10 years in several aspects, including engineering. He owned and operated his own janitorial service company from 2003-2009, and then drove a taxi cab from 2009 until present.

Ciamak is survived by one son, Alex Noorbakhsh, Independence, Missouri; one daughter, Sara Noorbakhsh, Springfield, Missouri; one brother, Siroos Noorbakhsh and wife, Brenda, Kansas City, Missouri; and two sisters, Akram Noorbakhsh, Vancouver, British Columbia, and Afsar Noorbakhsh of Iran.
