Christopher Michael Shannon, 29, of Orrick, Missouri passed away on Friday, April 3, 2020 at KU Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas. A graveside service was held on Friday, April 10, 2020 at Crescent Hill Cemetery in Adrian, Missouri. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Leukemia Foundation.

Christopher was born on October 22, 1990 in Kansas City, Missouri. Chris was raised by his mom, Renee (Denney) Deets and his step-father, Monty Kisner. He graduated from Archie High School in 2009. Chris was known as being more of a jack of all trades, although primarily he worked in transportation and had his CDL, he never had just one area of interest. He was an outdoors type of a guy, enjoying time on ATVs, hunting, and especially fishing. However, more would have described Chris as being a giver, as he had the biggest heart and an old soul. He was a tinkerer, often found working on RC cars or some other project, but he enjoyed also sitting back and having a good conversation, often times with people significantly older than himself. Most would recall that Chris had great dance moves and often quoted funny movie phrases during casual conversations. The ultimate light of his life was his son, Jackson, who will always and forever be his main love.

Christopher was preceded in death by his father, Michael Shannon and grandparents, Ernest and Virginia Brazeal. He is survived by his son, Jackson Shannon; his mother, Renee (Steve) Deets of Lone Jack, MO; his significant other, Caitlin Stevinson, of the home; his brother, Kody Kisner; his sister, Ashley (Joey) Patterson; his step-brother, Shannon Kisner; his maternal grandmother, Sue Brazeal; two nephews: Sam and Daniel Patterson; one niece, Gracelyn Patterson; as well as, many extended family and friends.
