Christine L. Holbrook, 81, of Valley, Nebraska, formerly of Archie, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 14, 2026. Services were held on Friday, May 22, 2026, at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, MO. Burial at Crescent Hill Cemetery in Adrian, MO. Christine was born July 16, 1944 , in Main City, Missouri, a daughter of Wilburn Edward and Ollie Clestine (Oliver) Kendrick. She attended three different rural schools, Main City # 81, Everett #78, and Rocky Point #82, before graduating from Archie High School in 1962. Christine went to work for Western Electric in Lee's Summit, MO, right out of high school and worked there 13 years before becoming a homemaker for her family.Christine was united in marriage to Lee Allen Holbrook February 12, 1966, at the Archie, MO, United Methodist Church. They made their home in the Archie and Garden City, MO area before moving to Valley, NE in 1991. They moved back to the Archie area in 1999 and Christine moved back to Valley in 2018.

Christine was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lee, on March 5, 2012; two sisters, Freda Burchett and Evelyn Warren; a brother, William "Cape" Kendrick; and a nephew, Brent Kendrick. She is survived by her daughter, Crystal (Bill) Peterson, Valley, NE; a grandson, T.J. Peterson; her nephews and nieces: Larry, Garry, Janet and Jerry Burchett, Ricky, Ronnie, Danny, and Donnie Warren; and Bill and Barry Kendrick.
