Obituary

Chloris Henrietta Richardson, 94, Louisburg, Kansas, formerly of West Line, Missouri, died Friday, March 25, 2016 at Saint Luke's South Hospital in Overland Park, Kansas. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Glenwild Cemetery in Cleveland, Missouri.

Chloris was born March 9, 1922 in Windsor, Missouri, the daughter of William Warren and Sarah Elizabeth (Ridenhour) Fessler. She moved to West Line in 1930 and was a graduate of Freeman High School. She married Stanley "Bud" Irwin Richardson on December 25, 1939 in Harrisonville, Missouri. Chloris was a member of the West Line Christian Church. Chloris loved to make quilts and almost everyone in the family has received one of her quilts.

Chloris wrote in her notes that she wanted to thank her family for all the care and love they have given her; and to thank them for all the flowers given to her to enjoy while she lived. She loved you all; you made her last years mean so much. God bless all.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bud on May 28, 2004, and one son, Clifford "Warren" Richardson. She is survived by her son, Stan Richardson (Marsha), Parkville, Missouri; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews; and her two little dogs, Girl and Pollyanna.
