Charlotte Rebecca Kauzlarich, 94, of Harrisonville, MO died Sunday, March 20, 2011. Funeral Mass 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Visitation at 9:00 a.m. at the church with a Rosary at 9:45 a.m. Burial at Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville. Contributions may be made to the church.

Charlotte was born December 13, 1916 in Marceline, MO, the daughter of Claude and Irene (Long) Yates. She was a 1934 graduate of Marceline High School. She worked for Walsworth Publishing in sales and advertising until her marriage to Victor S. Kauzlarich on January 9, 1945.

Charlotte was an avid reader and a verbal historian. She loved to quilt, crochet, do word scrambles and word searches. She was a lifetime member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband, Victor on May 7, 1992, her parents, three brothers, Maxwell Yates, Claude M. Yates and Hiram Yates and one sister, Alice Westfall. She is survived by two daughters, Vicki Kauzlarich, Lawrence, KS and Claudia Kauzlarich, Harrisonville, MO; two grandsons, Kevin Kauzlarich and his wife, Gina, Burleson, TX and Shawn Leslie, Harrisonville, MO; one great-granddaughter, Anna Reece Kauzlarich and many nieces and nephews.
