Charles Franklin Whited, 79, Kansas City, Missouri, died Sunday, October 30, 2016 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Funeral services were held Friday, November 4, 2016 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, Missouri, with burial in Wills Cemetery in Peculiar, Missouri.

Charles was born December 9, 1936 in North Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Delmar Scott and Dora Mae (Williams) Whited. He was a lifelong resident of Kansas City. He married Kathryn Marie Urton on May 19, 1954.

Charles worked for C&S Construction in Kansas City and was a member of Local No. 101.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Kathryn on July 25, 2013. He is survived by two sons, Tracy Whited, Raymore, Missouri and Terry Whited, Kansas City, Missouri; two daughters, Theresa K Sikorski, Sun City, Arizona and Tonya Dib, Raleigh, North Carolina; one brother, Ronnie Whited, Liberty, Missouri; two sisters, Della McGarr, Springdale, Arkansas and Donna Sanders, Calico Rock, Arkansas; 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
