Charles Patrick Stackhouse, 75, Archie, MO, died Thursday, November 22, 2007 at Research Medical Center, Kansas City. Funeral services 2:00 PM Monday, November 26 at the Atkinson Chapel, Harrisonville. Burial in Freeman Cemetery, Freeman, MO. Visitation 6:00-8:00 PM Sunday at the chapel.

Pat was born August 22, 1932 in Osceola, MO, the son of George Howard and Thelma Marie (Shelton) Stackhouse. Pat attended Osceola and Appleton City schools. He was a US Army Korean War veteran. He married Glenna Lee Jones on April 13, 1957 at the Hickory Grove Freewill Baptist Church.

Pat worked for Bendix/Allied Signal as an electronic assembler before retiring in March, 1992. He was a member of the Hickory Grove Freewill Baptist Church where he had served as superintendent and also taught Sunday school. Pat enjoyed farming, coon hunting with his dog Ben and also raised hogs. He especially loved spending time with his granddaughter, Lauren.

Pat was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Glenna, of the home; one daughter, Linda Durnell and her husband, Greg, Archie, MO; three brothers, Ernest Stackhouse, Raymore, MO, Wayne Stackhouse, Sedalia, MO and Dale Stackhouse, Garden City, MO; one sister, Bonnie Toti, Raymore, MO and one granddaughter, Lauren Durnell.
