Charles Allen Sidebottom, 75, Harrisonville, MO, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2022 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO.  A visitation, with military honors, was held  Thursday, June 2, 2022 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville.

Charles was born October 27, 1946 in Holden, MO, a son of Stanley Francis and Phyllis Nadine (Davis) Sidebottom.  He was a U. S. Vietnam Army veteran.  Charles was a lifelong resident of Cass County, MO.  He  had worked for Kitty Clover Potato Chip Company. Solo Cup Company and worked as a sandblaster for Metcraft in Grandview, MO before he retired.  He was a member of the Harrisonville VFW Post #4409.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, one grandson, Zachary Burton, and one nephew, Jordon Cashett.  He is survived by one son, Mike Sidebottom, Harrisonville, MO; one daughter, Heather Burton, Harrisonville; one sister, Kim Hammontree, Hamilton, MO; 3 grandchildren, Leo Dalton Arthur, Eric Jacob Arthur and Mary Jeanne Arthur; one nephew, Trent Hammontree and one niece, Kaylan Cashett.
