Charles Edward Fink, 65, Amsterdam, Missouri died Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at Overland Park Regional Medical Center in Overland Park, Kansas. Graveside services will be held 10:00am Friday, November 5, 2010 at Crescent Hill Cemetery, Adrian, Missouri . Contributions made be made to Heartland Hospice.

He was born July 9, 1945, in Butler, Missouri, the son of Charles Abraham Fink and Shirley Lucille Smith-Fink.


Charles was united in marriage to Betty Elaine Blaser on April 4, 1965, in Adrian, Missouri. To this union, two children were born. Charles spent his life farming with his family; first with his father, Charlie, then his son, Allen. Farming was something he enjoyed up until his very last days. When not farming, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and tractor pulls. Charles loved spending time with his family. He always enjoyed having his grandchildren at his house.


Charles was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Betty; one son, Charles Allen Fink and wife, JoDee; and one daughter, Brenda Kay Minor and husband, Troy; two sisters, Doris Imler and husband Ralph of Osceola, Missouri; and Mary Lou Gifford and husband DeWayne of Butler, Missouri; four grandchildren, Samantha Jo Fink, Dylan Charles Fink, Madison Jaye Minor and Natoshia Kaye Minor and ; and other family and friends.
