Charles Fenton Fields, Jr., 70, of Kansas City, MO died Monday, July 19, 2010 at North Kansas City Hospital in North Kansas City, MO. Memorial/graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, July 30 at Leavenworth National Cemetery in Leavenworth, KS.
Charles was born October 3, 1939 in Kansas City, MO, the son of Charles Fenton and Ruby Mae (McKinzie) Fields, Sr. He worked for Chief Freight Lines in Kansas City, MO and was a member of Local #44. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
Charles is survived by two sons, Charles Fields, III, Kansas City, MO and Jeff E. Fields, Glendale, AZ; one daughter, Becky Lang, Cameron, MO; one sister, Nancy Schmoll, Peculiar MO; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
