Cauline Marie Edmonson, 81, Harrisonville, MO, died Sunday, July 21, 2019 at Redwood of Blue River in Kansas City, MO. Memorial services were held Thursday, July 25, 2019 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, MO.  Memorial contributions may be made to Hope Haven, Harrisonville.

Cauline was born August 12, 1937 in Freeman, MO, a daughter of Robert Glenn and Ruby Muriel (Rinker) Lacy. She was a 1955 graduate of Freeman High School and had received an associate's degree from Rockhurst College in Kansas City, MO. Cauline had worked as the secretary to the principal at Cass Midway Schools and was a branch manager at North American Savings Bank in Harrisonville for many years. She also worked as a transaction closer for Hight Land Title. After retiring, Cauline moved to the Lake of the Ozarks, Iberia, MO, where she lived before moving back to Harrisonville in 2016. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and the Freeman Presbyterian Church and a past member of the Eastern Star. She had also served as the mayor of Freeman.

Cauline is survived by one son, Curtis Koons, Kansas City, MO; two daughters, Cara Swofford and her husband Steve, Lake of the Ozarks, MO, and Trudy Thomas, Drexel, MO; one sister, Carol Gillogly, Drexel, MO; 11 grandchildren, Jillian Marks and her husband, Jeremy, Christopher Thomas and his wife, Rhianna, Nicholas (Wick) Thomas, Caitlin Thomas, Kyle Swofford, Drew Swofford, Gage Swofford, Charles Koons, Malia Blosser and her husband, David, Bethany Salmons, and Robert Hehn; 5 great-grandchildren, Gracie Marks, Allie Marks, Walden Thomas, Melva Rose Thomas, and Autumn Blosser. One granddaughter, Skylar Swofford, preceded her in death.  She was also preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John Edmonson, brother, R.G. Lacy, Jr., sister, Charline Lacy, and son-in-law, Pat Thomas.
