Carolyn Sue Snedeger, 63, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Crown Care Center, Harrisonville, MO. The family will be holding a private graveside service at a later date.

Carolyn was born September 8, 1959 to James and Phyllis (Schultz) Banner in Milan, MO. Carolyn graduated from Grandview High School in Grandview, MO, in 1977. She worked many years for Wal-Mart in the deli department. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed fixing barbeque wings for family and friends.

Carolyn and Pete were married December 11, 2000, on a cold winter night in Kimberling City, MO. The only restaurant open that night for their wedding dinner was Mexican, but that was okay, because that was their favorite! Carolyn and Pete enjoyed the lake, both Truman and Table Rock, playing corn hole and doing "scratch-off" tickets with family and friends. They had no children of their own so they 'adopted' their nieces and nephews.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Russell 'Pete' Snedeger of Raymore, MO; sister, Brenda (Chris) Ballard of Ballard, MO; sisters-in-law: Roberta (Jerry) Jenkins of Kimberling City, MO; and Ruth Ann (Jerry) Ferguson of Adrian, MO; brother-in-law, Lewis (Mryna) Snedeger of Adrian, MO; several nephews and nieces; and a host of other family and friends.
