Carolyn Sue Shadley, 68, Olathe, Kansas, formerly of High Springs, Florida, died September 28, 2013 at Olathe Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 6, 2013 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Carolyn was born October 1, 1944 in Sedalia, Missouri, the daughter of Earl Henry and Mollie Edith (Ross) Lash. She married Bill Shadley on February 14, 1993 in Overland Park, Kansas. Carolyn worked for oral surgeons as a chairside assistant. She had lived in Cass County, Missouri and Johnson County, Kansas before moving to Florida 22 years ago.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, her sons, Mark Stowe and Bruce Stowe and one grandson, Jonathan Stowe. She is survived by her husband, Bill, of High Springs, Florida; one daughter, Dawn Rowland, Olathe, Kansas; three brothers, Earl Lash, Harrisonville, Missouri, Louis Lash, Independence, Missouri and Gene Lash, Kannapolis, North Carolina; two sisters, Betty Gough and Earlene Troby, both of Harrisonville, Missouri; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
