Carol Ann Moody, 76, of Harrisonville, MO, passed away on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at Golden Years in Harrisonville, MO. Memorial services were held on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, MO. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grand River Baptist Church or St. Croix Hospice.

Carol was born on July 27, 1947, in Kansas City, MO, to John and Rosa (Evans) Conner. Carol dedicated 32 years of her life as a dedicated case worker for the Cass County Department of Family Services, retiring in 1997. Her work touched the lives of countless families in the community, leaving a lasting impact through her empathy and support.

On October 21, 1966, Carol married her beloved husband, Charles "Rick" Moody, in Springfield, MO. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished family memories. Carol and Rick resided in Harrisonville, MO, for over 40 years, where they created a warm and welcoming home for their loved ones. She was a devoted member of the Grand River Baptist Church, finding solace in her faith and community, spreading light wherever she went. Her kindness, strength, and unwavering love will be forever remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Rick; her son, Brian (Nicole) Moody; her grandchildren: Ryan (Tahnee) Moody, Mason Scrivener, and Shelbe Dishong; her great-grandchildren: Bryson Moody, Ryker Moody, Bransyn Moody, and Dallas Degroot; her sisters: Mary Butler, Janet Moses, Judy Myers; her brother, Larry Conner; and many other extended family members and friends.
