Carol Yvonne George, 83, Harrisonville, Missouri, died Monday, February 25, 2019 at Cass Regional Medical Center in Harrisonville.  Graveside services were held Friday, March 1, 2019 at Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.

Carol was born on January 17, 1936 in Atlanta, Georgia, a daughter of Thomas D. and Geraldine (Cheek) Fowler.  Carol was united in marriage to Charles M. "Charlie" George on April 4, 1952 in Columbus, GA.  They lived in Georgia, Alabama, Florida and Texas before moving to the Kansas City area in 1977, where Carol and Charlie owned and operated Mid America Graphics.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie, in 2011; a granddaughter, Kimberly George, in 2013; two brothers, Tom Fowler in 2016 and Bob Fowler in 2019; one sister, Mary Ellen Collier, in 2008; and son-in-law, Zac Weddle, in 2012.  She is survived by four sons, David George (Kristi), Warsaw, MO, Chris George (Linda), Creighton, MO, Danny George, Raymore, MO, and Donny George (Jean), Harrisonville; two daughters, Terri Weddle, Kansas City, MO, and Callie Heiser (Kenneth), Spring, Texas; daughter-in-law, Ann George, Peculiar, MO;  one brother, Jim Fowler (Sarah), Sale Creek, Tennessee; 11 grandchildren, Mary (Nathan) Cage, Charlie George, Christopher (Jennifer) George, Sam George, Josh George, James Heiser, Leigh Ann Weddle, Brian Weddle, Megan (Jon) Moore, Landon George, and Lexi George;  and 5 great-grandchildren, Dalton, Cole, Tristan, Arya and Connor.
