Charles Rodney McGee, 64, of Martin City, MO, passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at his home.  Funeral services  were held   on Monday, April 12, 2021 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, MO.  Burial in Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville.

Rodney was born February 26, 1957 in Harrisonville, Missouri, a son of Robert E. and Evelyn Charlene (Ward) McGee.  Rodney grew up in Harrisonville and was a member of the Harrisonville First Baptist Church.

Rodney was a cook at various restaurants in Kansas City before his retirement, and had lived in south Kansas City and the Martin City area for 25 years.

Rodney was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Kathy, and a brother, Robert.  He is survived by two sons, Jeremy McCoy, Liberty, MO, and Joshua McGee, Martin City, MO; two daughters, Angel Tignor, Galveston, TX, and Tanya McGee, Denver, CO; a brother, Rick (April) McGee, Harrisonville, MO; two sisters, Karen Wilbur, Oak Grove, MO, and Kelly (Micah) Quinn, Harrisonville; and six grandchildren: Justin Arnold, Tyler Arnold, Zachary Arnold, Heaven Tignor, Tori McCoy and Hannah McCoy.
