Brighton Alexander Curtis, 3 months old, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 11, 2008. He was a bright little star here on earth and now will be a big bright shining star in Heaven. Graveside services 12:00 noon Monday, September 15, 2008 at the Crescent Hill Cemetery, Adrian, MO with visitation from 11:00-12:00 at the Atkinson Chapel, Adrian. Brighton was born June 4, 2008 in Overland Park, Kansas, the son of Joseph and Brandy Curtis, Belton, MO. He was preceded in death by one sister, Clarissa Curtis in 2003.

Brighton is survived by his parents, Joseph and Brandy Curtis, one sister, Lenexa Curtis and one brother Ethan; his maternal grandparents, Tim and Cathy Dawn; maternal grandmother, Colleen Dawn and John Randall; great-grandparents, Gordon and Doris Dawn; great-grandfather, Kenneth Kendrick; great-grandmother, Patricia Alexander; aunts and uncles, Jeremiah Dawn, Brent and Jennifer Aldrich, Cole Dawn, Travis Dawn, Brett and Brittany Dawn, Steve and Karen Dawn, Mark and Susan Dawn, Gordon and Theresa Malone and Kathy Puhr; paternal grandfather, Edward Curtis and great-grandmothers, Ramona Curtis and Sue Snuggs, aunts and uncles, Juanetta and Andre Samedi, Rhonda Cox, Steve and Donna Lovelace and many cousins and great aunts and uncles, who will miss and love him always.
