Brenda Diane (Foreman) Amos, 55, Harrisonville, Missouri, died Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Benchmark Health Care in Harrisonville. Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 21 at the Atkinson Chapel in Harrisonville. (Cremation). Memorial contributions may be made to the family.


Brenda was born September 1, 1957 in Harrisonville, Missouri, the daughter of Lawrence Dwight and Billie Marie (Norman) Foreman. Brenda was a 1975 graduate of Harrisonville High School. She was married to John Timothy Amos for 23 years. She was a homemaker. She loved her grandchildren; they were her life.


She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Clyde Foreman and one granddaughter, Ariel Pierce. She is survived by two daughters, Jackolin Pierce (Brian Herrick), Independence, Missouri and Rebecca "Becky" Lynn (Dewey Lynn), Harrisonville, Missouri; five brothers, William Foreman, Harrisonville, David Foreman, Missouri, Michael Foreman, Arkansas, Bryon Foreman, Missouri and Alan Foreman, Kansas; one sister, Paula Gillotte, Harrisonville; 11 grandchildren, Marcus Divilbiss, Alexander Divilbiss, Hillary Younce, Jasmine Lynn, Alyssa Pierce, Rachael Pierce, Caleb Herrick, Dorian Herrick, Briana Herrick, Devlin Lynn and Cecil Lynn; and other family and friends.
