Bobby Joe Scott, 87, of Harrisonville, MO passed away on March 13, 2022, at his home with his family by his side. Graveside services were held Thursday, March 17, 2022  at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery in Pomona, MO. Memorial donations can be made in Bobby's name to Alzheimer's Association.

Bobby Scott was born on August 12, 1934 in South Fork, MO, to Troy Scott and Carrie (McCarty) Scott. Bobby grew up in South Fork, Missouri attending the country school there. He went on to enlist in the US National Guard, serving 10 years and achieving the rank of Sargeant. Bobby married Martha Ann King on August 27, 1955 in West Plains, Missouri, and to this union they had two sons: Ronald and Brian. Bobby spent most of his career being an over-the-road truck driver, and after 25 years, he retired from Convoy. In his free time, he enjoyed farming cattle and spending time outdoors.

Bobby is preceded in death by his parents; his son, Brian Scott-Haynes; his step-mother, Gathel Scott; and his brother, Gordon Scott. He is survived by his wife, Martha, of 66 years; his son, Ronald Scott; and his grandson, Tyler Scott.
