Obituary

Billie Vern Reid, 42, Adrian, MO passed into the presence of his Savior on August 8, 2018. Celebration of Life Service was held Sunday, August 12, 2018, at the Adrian Optimist Building, Adrian, Missouri. A Tribe of Mic-O-Say service  preceded the celebration of life service.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Billie Reid Legacy Fund, c/o Citizens Bank, Adrian.

Billie was born on July 6, 1976 to Barbara Vicki Reid in North Kansas City, MO. He was joined in marriage to the love of his life, Jenny Watts on September 25, 1998, and made their home in Adrian. On December 4, 2001 they welcomed their daughter, Morgan, into their lives. And, on May 13, 2004, their family grew again with the addition of Mason, their son.

Billie was employed by Siemens Corporation as a Field Service Technician, starting in December of 2000. He was an active member of the Adrian community, serving on the Adrian Park Board, and was a member of the Adrian Optimist Club, as well as participating in many other local activities. He was very active with the Boy Scouts, along with his son, Mason, attending summer camp every year, and all the local troop activities and events. He was also an active member of the Tribe of Mic-O-Say. He was a regular fixture at the ball field, where Morgan could always find him sitting in his regular spot to watch and support her play. Billie was an avid outdoorsman, thoroughly enjoying hunting and fishing out in God's creation. As a father, he loved teaching Morgan and Mason to hunt and fish alongside him.

He is survived by his wife Jenny, daughter, Morgan, and son, Mason, all of the home; his mother, Vicki Brown (Tim), Louisburg, KS.; his step-father, Hank Goodman (Peri), Louisburg, KS.; his brother, Mickey (Jennifer), of Louisburg, KS.; his mother and father-in-law, Pam and Tim Watts, Adrian, MO, and a large extended family, and community of friends.
