Beverly Jeanne Tinsley, 88, Harrisonville, MO, passed away Thursday, November 22, 2018 at K.U. Medical Center, Kansas City, KS.  Funeral services were held  Monday, November 26, 2018 at the First Christian Church in Harrisonville with burial in Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville.  Memorial contributions may be made to the church memorial fund.

Beverly was born August 21, 1930 in Nevada, MO, the daughter of Clovis and Goldie (Milligan) Etter.  She grew up in Nevada and was a 1948 graduate of Nevada High School.  Beverly had worked for Southwestern Bell in Nevada for 11 years.  She married Donald Oliver Tinsley on February 14, 1959.  They moved to Harrisonville, MO in 1965.

Beverly was a beloved aunt and friend to all who met her.  Most of her nieces and nephews called her Aunt Bebber.  She found joy in cooking for family and friends.  Her favorite holiday was Thanksgiving, enjoying hosting dinner for over 50 years.  She entered eternal life on Thanksgiving.

Beverly was an active member of the First Christian Church in Harrisonville and had been the bereavement dinner coordinator for many years.  She also was an excellent cook and had a business making cakes for many years.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Don, January 13, 1996, one brother, and three sisters.  She is survived by two daughters, Cindy Sanders and husband, Mark, Minden, NV, and Cheryl Tinsley, Independence, MO; two granddaughters, Sarah Ness and husband, Elliot, and Miriam Marquez and husband, Brennan; a very close niece, Melody Schaefer, and numerous other nieces and nephews.
