Betty Lou Paul, 87, of Lee's Summit, Missouri, entered into eternal rest on Friday, August 1, 2025, at Beautiful Savior Nursing Home in Belton, MO. Family and friends gathered to celebrate Betty's life during a visitation at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville on Friday, August 8, 2025. A graveside service was held, following the visitation, at Orient Cemetery in Harrisonville.

Born on May 17, 1938, in Creighton, MO, to Orville Lee and Bertha May (Bryant) Tschudi. Betty was a shining light in the lives of her family and friends. She grew up in Harrisonville, MO, before moving to Lee's Summit in the 1960s, where she built a life filled with love and laughter.

Betty dedicated many years to her career as a machine operator at Western Electric/AT&T until she was 65, and then explored other opportunities, including working for local cleaning companies before enjoying retirement. Her strong work ethic and commitment resonated with all who knew her. A devoted member of the Lee's Summit Ladies Auxiliary VFW #5789, Betty exemplified the spirit of service and community. She was also an active participant in the First Baptist Church of Lee's Summit, where her kindness and warmth touched the lives of many.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Kimberly McDaniel. Betty is survived by her son, Brian Clements, of Pleasant Hill, MO; five grandchildren: Cole (Taylor) McDaniel, Taylor (Patrick) Taylor, Dustin (Ashley) McDaniel, Bailey (Jesse) Terry, and Kaycee (Jon) Luna; and six great-grandchildren: Luke, Dayton, Chevy, Autumn, Rylee, and Quentin. She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and joyous memories.
