Betty Jane Catron, 89, of Harrisonville, Missouri, passed away following a brief illness on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Medicalodge of Butler. Funeral services were held on Friday, April 24, 2026 at  the Harrisonville United Methodist Church in Harrisonville, MO. Interment  at Orient Cemetery in Harrisonville, MO. The family request donations in lieu of flowers to Cass Regional Medical Center Foundation, Evolve Healthcare program, which will fully fund tuition for two students a year.

Born August 6, 1936 to Fount and Edrie Morrison, in Everton, Arkansas. She married Paul "Eddie" Catron on September 2, 1956 and lived in Harrisonville, MO. Betty is survived by her son, Michael "Doug" Catron (Amy); grandchildren: Michael Scott Catron (Adora), Michael Kevin Pierson II (Jayne), and Melanie Weeks (Dan); great-grandchildren: Selene Gwendolyn Catron, Conner Douglas Catron, Michael Nikolas Catron, Amber Elizabeth Pierson, Carmen Amise Pierson, William Cole Weeks, Tobias Paul Weeks, and Elliott Graham Weeks; and siblings: Linda Ferron, Lewis Lowery, and Jim Lowery.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul "Eddie" Catron; parents, Fount and Edrie Morrison; son, Steven Paul Catron; granddaughter, Alyssa Rachelle O'Neill (Sean); siblings: Jerry Lowery, Bill Lowery, Peggy Ruhwedel, Harold Morrison, Wanda Lee Williams, and Rex Morrison; and uncle Tom Wilson.
