Bettie June Miller, 85, Harrisonville, MO, died Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Crown Care Center in Harrisonville. Funeral services were held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 5, 2012 at the Atkinson Chapel in Harrisonville, Missouri. Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Harrisonville. Memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice.

Bettie was born October 4, 1926 in Garden City, MO, the daughter of William Smith and Lena May (Pennington) Miller. She was a graduate of Harrisonville High School and was a lifelong resident of Harrisonville. She married Max D. Miller on June 1, 1946.

Bettie was a member of the Harrisonville United Methodist Church. She was a school bus driver with the Harrisonville School District for several years. She had also worked at the Lee Theater and the Cass County Drive-In in Harrisonville as a cashier.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jack Miller. Survivors include her husband, Max, Harrisonville, MO; three sons, Dwayne Miller and wife, Linda, Fairfield Bay, Arkansas, Chris Miller and wife, Becky, Garden City, MO and Clint Miller and wife, Debbie, Harrisonville, MO; two brothers, Bill Miller, Harrisonville, MO and Danny Miller, Raymore, MO; two sisters, Jean Anderson, Liberty, MO and Janie Miller, Harrisonville, MO; 9 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
