Bert Morris Rinker, III, 63, Blairstown, MO, died Saturday, September 29, 2018 at his home.  Funeral services were held  Thursday, October 4, 2018 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, MO.  Burial will be in Freeman Cemetery, Freeman, MO.

Bert was born March 14, 1955 in Butler, MO, the son of Bert and Betty R. (Woodring) Rinker.  He married Patricia Lyons on November 18, 1997 in Harrisonville, MO.  After he graduated from Lee's Summit High School in 1973, Bert served as a medic in the United States Army.

Bert had lived in Harrisonville before moving to Blairstown 12 years ago.  He worked for Cass Regional Medical Center in Harrisonville as a medical technician, and was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan.

Bert was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Rinker.  He is survived by his wife, Patti, of the home; three sons, Richard Lowrance, of the state of California, Ashly Hampton, St. Joseph, MO, and Kiefer Lowrance, Blue Springs, MO; one daughter, Ambrosa Estes, Harrisonville, MO; his father, Bert Rinker, Harrisonville; two brothers, Bret Rinker, Harrisonville, and Paul Rinker, Pleasant Hill, MO; and 12 grandchildren.
