Berry Leighton Dennis, 71, of Adrian, MO went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at his home. A Memorial Service was held on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at the Adrian Christian Church in Adrian Missouri. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Adrian Christian Church or the South Prairie Railroad (WMATMA).

Berry Leighton Dennis was born July 5, 1953, to Argus Wilbur Dennis and Armandy Leota (Taylor) Dennis in Kansas City, KS. He grew up in Kansas City then his senior year his family moved to Archie, MO where he graduated in 1971. He married Susan "Sue" Marie Mays on May 24, 1975, in Burlington Kansas, and to this union, they had one son David. Berry worked as a service representative for Hunter Engineering until he retired in 2010. Berry was a long-time member of Adrian Christian Church where he was highly involved. He would also spend a lot of time working and maintaining the railroad at Frontier Village, he also spent many cold evenings at Hot Chocolate Night conducting the train for the riders to enjoy. He also loved spending time at the lake and working on the farm. His biggest joy came from being Grandpa to his grandson Michael.

Berry Leighton Dennis is preceded in death by his parents and brother Wilbur Lee Dennis- He is survived by his wife Sue Dennis; son, David Dennis; grandson Michael Dennis; and many other treasured family and friends.
