Obituary
Bernie Jean McMurray, 86, Independence, MO, died Sunday, May 22, 2011 at Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 27, 2011 at Mt. Washington Cemetery in Independence.
Bernie was born January 21, 1925 in Greenwood, MO, the daughter of Luther George and Maybelle Sarah (Yokum) Spradling. Bernie had worked as a seamstress for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Lloyd Spradling and a sister, Berniece Moeller. She is survived by a son, Keith McMurray, Kansas City, MO; a daughter, Tina Paddeck, Independence, MO; two grandchildren, Bobby McMurray and Dillon McMurray; three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
