Bernadette "Berni" Marie Hill, 67, of Adrian, Missouri, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2025, at her home. A celebration of life will be held on February 15th, 2025, at Adrian Christian Church from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Berni was born on March 11, 1957, to Clayton and Geraldine (Walsh) Calder in Seattle, Washington. She married Jerry Hill on June 25, 1994, then together they moved to Adrian, MO. Berni worked many years as a waitress at the Homestead House Restaurant in Adrian where she developed many friendships. She never met a stranger and was always willing to give a hug. She worked even harder raising her four children: Tom, Sarah, Gerry, and Matthew. She loved sewing, especially making dresses, and would often be asked to do alterations for people. She enjoyed traveling to Arizona to see her sister, Meggie. Berni's greatest accomplishment and love was for her family, especially her grandchildren, with whom she spent countless hours with whenever possible.

Berni is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Maureen Calder. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Hill; her children: Thomas (Angie) Holmes, Sarah (Michael) Britt, Gerry (Matthew) Diehl, and Matthew Hill; her grandchildren: Emma, William, Camren, Brantly, Jillian, Aiden, and Adaline; and her sister, Margaret (Bill) Young.
